Here we are, the people behind this website.  Pictured to the left, you'll see me; Craig Donnelly, Nicki Blackburn and Greg Lee.  Nicki is a budding real estate investor in the Charleston area.  She has lived here in the Charleston area her whole life and is a true southern gal who loves the South.  I'm (Craig) a jack of all trades... trying to master a little bit of everything. :)  I moved to Charleston from North Carolina and and I currently own and lead an internet marketing and technology company including eProperties LLC an internet based real estate company. Greg is my right hand man and hails from the great "white bread" State of Ohio and has lived in Charleston since 2003.  Greg is a very talented graphic designer and leads all of our website development projects.

So Why Did We Decide To  Build This Website And Put Up The Fort Sumter Webcam?

Before I answer that question allow me to give you a little extra background about us...  we are responsible for operating www.follysurfcam.com, a website with 3 live webcams located on Folly Beach, a barrier island 12 miles just outside of downtown Charleston.  So we do have extensive background and experience with bringing live video feeds of beautiful places to the internet.

So why another webcam website?

Simple really!  We love Charleston and the surrounding area. We also know how many people love and appreciate the views of Folly Beach our webcams bring  people all around the world. We also understand how popular Historic Charleston and Fort Sumter is... not only to Americans but, to people all around the world.

Knowing that there are No live webcams of historic Charleston and Fort Sumter we decided that this would be a fun project - And that is to broadcast live video images of this wonderful historic city to the rest of the world.

As a way to give back to our community, we have decided to provide you, our web  visitor, with a view of Charleston and Fort Sumter using one of the most advanced webcams available. We use a special Canon webcam that us capabilities similar to a telescope or binoculars.  If you've ever enjoyed using coin operated binoculars at a scenic or historic area, our webcam gives you an even better experience, without having to pay - we're picking up the tab on this one.  The experience is better because you don't have to waste your time trying to get the picture in focus.  Auto-focus, tracking and other features make our camera very easy to use.  This spectacular new technology is brought to you by Charleston SC Real Estate LLC and eProperties LLC.
